We've been dancing in Southern Maryland for 25 years now and have always been known as the "nice" studio.  We're proud of that distinction because we are nice.  We have especially nice teachers and staff who keep dance fun!  Our waiting areas are sibling friendly with lots of room, puzzles & blocks, and our dance studios are parent friendly with big windows into the dance rooms.  We like for our parents to see into the class at all times - because dancers are only young once and we want you to enjoy every tip-toe turn and twirl!    

The goal of Sharon's Studio of Dance is to provide quality dance instruction in a non-competitive, fun atmosphere! We take great pride in our programs and the well being of our students is our number one priority! Through dance, we are instilling an appreciation for the arts as well as building self-confidence and self-esteem in every dancer everyday!

Sharon's Studio of Dance provides students with bright dance rooms.  Our largest room is for our Dance Imagine Program which is designed specifically for our younger dancers. One step into this room and the magic of dance comes alive with colorful walls and exciting dance props! All of our rooms are equipped with raised floors, full length mirrors and ballet barres. Class sizes are limited to allow for more personal attention and all rooms have observation windows for parents to watch their dancer!

Our friendly instructors are continuously trained with the latest in dance through dance workshops and college courses. Classes are taught in an age appropriate manner, which means the music & dance selections are appropriate to the age and level of the dancers. Monthly newsletters, weekly coloring pages and practice sheets are also given to help the dancers and their parents keep informed and up-to-date on all of our programs!

Plus, we are super convenient for the busy family!  We have many options under one roof since we are co-located with Flips Gym & Cheer and Southern Maryland Spirit Cheerleading!
